On joining the company in 1986, the task for Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé was that of adapting the family-owned business to the changed conditions predominant in global markets as well as setting a new course. A truly formidable challenge. In view of the decline in the German mining industry, a significant restructuring process was necessary. The plan was invariably to “go global” with innovative products.

Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé therefore set up a worldwide sales system and founded subsidiaries in the USA, France, England, Singapore and China, to name but a few. The result speaks for itself: whereas the proportion of exports in 1980 was still below 5%, today it is above 70%.

We are ready for the future!

Entering into new markets or market segments as well as continuous product optimisation was and is an important part of the company’s strategy. Under the leadership of W. Neuhaus-Galladé, the entire JDN industry product line has been revised within the last ten years.

Examples of this are the relaunch of the PROFI series in 2003, the introduction of winches in 2004 or the relaunch of the “small” PROFI series in 2005. With a range of patented innovations and a consistent reduction in the number of components, they characterise the current technological standards with regard to air hoists.

Based on Kaizen, a Japanese philosophy of life and work which follows the guiding principle of continuous improvement und step-by-step perfection, J.D. Neuhaus has for several years been striving towards the optimisation of workplaces and processes. We continuously invest in the training of our employees and strictly control our quality.
