Potential captured in concrete terms

Our commitment to continuous improvement is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. Although a sustainability report is not mandatory, we emphasise the importance of conducting it annually from now on. This voluntary report details the J.D. Neuhaus Group’s sustainability measures and progress at its locations worldwide, including our global carbon footprint (Scope 1 to 3). Our report complies with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for the transparent presentation of progress on key sustainability issues. We actively engage our stakeholders in this process to promote a collaborative approach to sustainable practices. These efforts, which are an integral part of our sustainability management, not only help to identify targeted reduction potential for our carbon footprint, but also drive long-term sustainability initiatives.

Sustainability in JDN’s everyday life

JDN is committed to developing increasingly comprehensive waste prevention measures and expanding the company’s climate friendliness. Through the resource-efficient production and development of lifting equipment, the involvement of our customers and suppliers, and the responsibility of people in the value-added process, JDN aims to avoid waste. For example, every hoist is already produced with 100% green electricity, a complete switch to LED lighting has been made, and the latest technologies in production and value creation guarantee minimal resource consumption. Also sustainable projects like the greening of the company premises or the settlement of JDN bee trunks make sustainability tangible at JDN. In the company and at our locations we live social responsibility. We are committed to a sustainable human resources policy and in personnel development we focus on enabling internal careers through continuous promotion of the individual. In our immediate environment, we have long been involved in social projects.
