J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG (JDN) announces an important milestone in its management: Ms. Gitta Neuhaus-Galladé and Mr. Moritz Neuhaus-Galladé will be appointed joint managing partners with effect from January 1, 2025. This decision, which was made during the advisory board meeting in December 2024, marks the next step in the long-standing tradition of leadership by the Neuhaus family at JDN.
Since its founding in 1745, the company has been run by the Neuhaus family for almost 280 years. The handover to the eighth generation of the family will be carried out by Mr. Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé, who led the company as sole managing partner for over 30 years as the seventh generation of the family. This forward-looking generational change underscores the ongoing commitment to continuity and the values that have shaped JDN since its founding.
“It is an important step toward securing the future of our family business,” says Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé. “A multi-generational family business is something special because it never belongs to one generation alone. It is the responsibility of each generation to secure it for the next generation. I am very grateful that my family entrusted me with a mining supplier in 1987 and that I can now hand over an internationally active provider of conveyor technology solutions for various industries. With the eighth generation of the family now taking over responsibility, it is certain that the company will continue to develop in the future and be able to meet new challenges.”
When JDN celebrates its 280th anniversary in 2025, both the seventh and eighth generations of the family will be running the company, ensuring a seamless transition. Gitta Neuhaus-Galladé and Moritz Neuhaus-Galladé emphasize the importance of family values in shaping the future of JDN: “We are honored to continue our family’s legacy and lead the company into the future. Together with the commitment of our national and international JDN team, our goal is to further strengthen the company’s position in the global market while remaining true to the values of independence, innovation, and sustainability that have been passed down through generations in our family.”
As a family-owned company, JDN continues to focus on long-term goals and maintaining close relationships with our customers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders. The change in leadership reflects JDN’s ongoing commitment to preserving its strong family foundation while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation in the field of conveyor technology.
