On National Girls’ Day 2024, we also opened our doors in Witten to welcome three schoolgirls.
The schoolgirls immersed themselves in the exciting world of hoists, learned how they work, and were even allowed to try their hand at operating them. Through practical exercises and experiments, they not only acquired theoretical knowledge but also tangible skills that will be useful to them in their future careers.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the joint signing of their JDN water bottles right here at our factory and the successful completion of the hoisting course set up with one of our hoists. From start to finish, it was a day full of discoveries and insights.
By participating in initiatives such as GirlsDay, we want to actively contribute to inspiring girls and young women to pursue careers and industries that are traditionally dominated by men. By providing them with practical experience and encouraging them to develop their skills, we are laying the foundation for a future in which the diversity and potential of each individual is promoted even more. At the same time, it also gives us the opportunity to learn from the younger generation and engage in continuous exchange.
