January 2,  2025 – Witten, Germany – J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG (JDN) announces a significant milestone in its leadership transition, with Ms. Gitta Neuhaus-Galladé and Mr. Moritz Neuhaus-Galladé being appointed as joint Managing Shareholders, effective January 1, 2025. This decision, made during the Advisory Board meeting in December 2024, marks the next step in the long-standing tradition of family leadership at JDN.

The company has been led by the Neuhaus-family for nearly 280 years since its founding in 1745. The handover from the 7th to the 8th generation, represented by Mr. Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé, who served the company as the sole Managing Shareholder for 30 years, highlights the ongoing commitment to continuity and the values that have defined JDN since its founding.

“It is a significant step in securing the future of our family-owned company”, said Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé, “A multi-generation family business is exceptional, because one Generation never owns it alone. The obligation of every Generation is to secure it for the next Generation. I am very grateful that a mining supplier was entrusted to me by my family in 1987, and I am now handing over an internationally operating provider of lifting solutions for various industries. The transition ensures that our business stays within the 8th generation of the Neuhaus family, while continuing to evolve and embrace new challenges.”

As JDN celebrates its 280th anniversary in 2025, the company will be guided by both the 7th and 8th generations, ensuring a seamless leadership transition. Gitta Neuhaus-Galladé and Moritz Neuhaus-Galladé emphasize the importance of family values in shaping the future of JDN: “We are honored to continue the legacy of our family, leading the company into the future. Together with the dedication of our national and international JDN-team, the goal is to further strengthen the company’s position in the global market while staying true to the values of independence, innovation and sustainability that have been passed down through generations of our family.”

As a family-owned company, JDN remains focused on long-term goals and fostering close relationships with our customers, partners, employees and stakeholders. The leadership transition reflects JDN’s ongoing commitment to maintaining its strong family foundation while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation in the lifting technology sector.
