J.D. Neuhaus is firmly committed to sustainability. For us, sustainability means thinking and acting for the long term by using resources efficiently, minimizing environmental impact, and creating stable, fair working conditions. We are therefore proud to present our second global sustainability report, which has been published annually since last year. The report was again prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards in preparation for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We report on a voluntary basis on our projects and our progress in the area of sustainability for the 2023 fiscal year. It is important to us to present our responsibility and commitment transparently.
In the new sustainability report, we again report along our four dimensions of sustainability: ecology, economy, products, and social issues. It again includes a global carbon footprint for the entire JDN Group. We also report on our corporate practices, how we treat our employees, and the environmental impact of our products. New in this year’s report is that we can draw comparisons with how J.D. Neuhaus has developed over the past year.
We actively involve our stakeholders in the entire sustainability reporting process in order to promote a shared path toward sustainable practices. These measures are a central component of our sustainability management. They not only help us to identify specific opportunities for reducing our CO2 emissions, but also drive forward long-term sustainability projects. Our brand promise of “permanent excellence” is an expression of our holistic and future-oriented approach.
For us, this annual sustainability report is more than just formal documentation—it is an expression of our commitment to our global team, customers, partners, and society. We are firmly committed to working together to shape a more sustainable future.
