Transparency and responsibility: J.D. Neuhaus publishes second sustainability report for 2023

J.D. Neuhaus is consistently committed to sustainability. For us, sustainability means thinking and acting for the long term by using resources efficiently, minimising environmental impact and creating stable, fair working conditions. We are therefore proud to present our second global sustainability report, which has been published annually since last year. The report was once again prepared in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in preparation for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We report on our projects and our progress in the area of sustainability for the 2023 financial year on a voluntary basis. It is important to us to present our responsibility and our commitment in a transparent manner.

In the new sustainability report, we once again report on our four dimensions of sustainability: ecology, governance, products and social issues. It again includes a global CO2 balance for the entire JDN Group. We also report on our corporate and social practices and the environmental impact of our products. What is new about this year’s report is that we can compare how J.D. Neuhaus has developed compared to the previous year.

This report aims to be inclusive and complete. It is written with the interests of all our stakeholders in mind. Together with them, we want to identify the potential for improvement and lead J.D. Neuhaus to economic and sustainable success. J.D. Neuhaus’s tradition shows that acting sustainably is in our DNA. Sustainability and economic success go hand in hand.

With this report, we are not only renewing our commitment to our employees, customers, partners, and society, but also emphasizing our recognition of their integral role in our success. We remain determined to build on the changes we have begun and to work together towards a more sustainable future.
