Which tasks do you particularly enjoy?
I particularly enjoy working on CIP topics in work organization. I enjoy designing plans in such a way that waste and unnecessary downtime are avoided. I also like to take on capacity planning and support my colleagues in their challenges. Solving challenges together makes my work particularly varied and interesting.
What do you particularly appreciate about working at JDN?
What I appreciate most is the team spirit and the good cooperation. The short communication channels within the company are also very valuable because many questions can be clarified quickly. Whether it’s a matter of work preparation or the technical office, issues are resolved without long waiting times. The joint team events of recent years, such as the company run, are always fun.

Which project or achievement has been a highlight for you in recent years?
A particular highlight was our success in the area of signing. We switched from single-item production to batch production. We were also able to make better use of free capacity after the end of the shift by starting up the machines before the end of the shift and continuing production. Another highlight is our new gear cutting machine, which is designed for setup optimization and enables larger batch sizes to be produced without significantly longer setup times.
