What are your tasks and what do you like most about them?
As a service engineer, every day is different. I enjoy the variety and the range of tasks we handle. We troubleshoot, repair hoists, perform overload tests, and make modifications to new hoists. When troubleshooting, it’s always advisable to start with the air supply and follow the airflow.
What do you like about working at JDN?
It’s great that we are part of such a large global team. The communication with colleagues from around the world is excellent; everyone is supportive and easy to reach. Working on the hoists has been a cool experience. From an engineering standpoint, these hoists are outstanding and of top-notch quality.

Have you already had a highlight in your first months at JDN?
My first trip to Portugal was definitely memorable. I went there alone to conduct an overload test at a Portuguese shipyard, and it all went really well. It turned out to be a great experience. Now, my time in Germany has been equally great. Honestly, I’ve had the chance to meet a lot of friendly new people in my first few months at JDN.
