The DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) ASCII file were realised to allow the interchange of drawing data between Autocad® Systems. It has meanwhile become a common drawing format between grafic programs.
Data files in X_T-format (Parasolid Text Transmit) can be taken into your project with the most current three-dimensional CAD-systems either directly or via the import function.
